About this product
Hancock & Hancock Tempranillo 2025 from Hancock & Hancock in McLaren Vale is a plush, full-bodied red with Spanish spirit and unmistakable Australian generosity. Made by Chris Hancock, it brings dark berry richness, savoury tobacco detail and fine tannins together in a seriously satisfying glass.
Dark cherry, raspberry and blackberry rise from the glass with warm spice, red pepper and dried tobacco leaf. The palate is juicy and luscious yet composed, delivering ripe red and black fruits, subtle old-oak complexity and a savoury edge. Hancock & Hancock Tempranillo finishes smooth, dry and deliciously persistent.
Serve Hancock & Hancock Tempranillo 2025 with chargrilled lamb, chorizo paella, mushroom pizza, beef empanadas or jamón and manchego. Its ample fruit and soft tannins make it brilliant with smoky, salty flavours, while the savoury profile earns it a place at any proper tapas spread.
