Rouleur Chardonnay /

Rouleur Chardonnay 2025 is a finely detailed Yarra Valley Chardonnay from winemaker Matt East, blending hand-picked fruit from a 1976-planted Upper Yarra vineyard at Seville with a smaller parcel from Yarra Glen. Wild-fermented and matured in French puncheons, it delivers bright cool-climate fruit with delicious Burgundian-inspired complexity.

White-fleshed nectarine, melon and grapefruit pith lead the nose, followed by cashew, flint and a measured lick of Burgundian oak. The 2025 Rouleur Chardonnay is dry and layered, with mineral acidity driving a focused palate while subtle wild-ferment character and barrel work build savoury depth. It is youthful, energetic and built to gain further complexity over the next few years.

Pour Rouleur Chardonnay 2025 with roast chicken, seared scallops, lobster rolls, grilled flathead, corn risotto or roast pork with apple. The wine’s grapefruit tang and mineral acidity cut through buttery sauces and richer dishes, while its creamy cashew notes sit beautifully beside roasted flavours. Enjoy now with a little air, or cellar for 3–6 years for a softer, more savoury expression.
