The palate is concentrated yet composed, with fine, powdery tannins and bright acidity giving a long, sinewy, satisfying finish that begs for hearty food.

On the table, 440 Cabernet is a natural with roast lamb, ribeye, slow–braised beef or chargrilled vegetables and hard cheeses, where its dark fruit, savoury leaf and earthy spice really sing. It’s an excellent option to decant now or tuck away for a decade.
