About this product
This is Ministry of Clouds LRD 2024, a modern homage to the classic Light Dry Reds of the Hunter and Yarra Valleys, blending Pinot Noir, Syrah and Gamay into something fragrant, silky and full of old-school Australian charm reborn for today’s table.
Raspberry leaf and strawberry lift straight from the Pinot Noir, joined by darker violet, cardamom and white pepper courtesy of cool-grown Syrah, while Gamay keeps the whole thing fresh with lively acid and fine tannin. Bright plum, crunchy pomegranate, flint and mineral notes carry through the palate, with succulent, juicy tannin giving the 2024 Ministry of Clouds LRD real structure beneath its exuberant fruit.
Serve the Ministry of Clouds LRD 2024 slightly chilled with baked whole rainbow trout, crunchy roast potatoes and a tomato, green bean, kalamata olive and basil salad – or simply pour it solo on a warm evening for easy, contemplative sipping. It’s a versatile, food-friendly red built for the same relaxed, generous style of eating this blend was designed for back in the 1940s.
