Makipai Sauvignon Blanc 2025 is a vibrant single-vineyard Marlborough white from winemaker Andrew Hedley, sourced from Ward Farm in the Awatere Valley. Certified-organic fruit, stainless-steel fermentation and restrained handling deliver a crisp, aromatic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that overdelivers on purity, regional character and value.
Passionfruit, lime and pink grapefruit leap from the glass, lifted by white flowers and a subtle whisper of freshly cut grass. The palate is juicy and light to medium-bodied, with zesty citrus acidity, a gentle talc-like lees texture and a clean, mouth-watering finish. Makipai Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is bright, layered and seriously refreshing.
Serve the 2025 Makipai Sauvignon Blanc ice-cold with oysters, Thai fishcakes, chilli prawns, goat’s cheese or a fresh Vietnamese salad.
