Kilikanoon Mort’s 1973 Reserve Riesling 2024 is an exceptional single-vineyard Watervale Riesling from Kilikanoon, grown on Mort’s Block, where vines planted in 1973 sit in red loam over limestone. The cool 2024 season delivered pristine fruit, naturally crisp acidity and serious Clare Valley intensity.
Grapefruit, lime, green apple and citrus blossom unfold over wet slate, crushed stone and a salty mineral edge. The palate is refined yet powerful, carrying plushness at its core before tightening into bright citrus, crunchy minerality and a long, dry finish. Kilikanoon Mort’s 1973 Riesling 2024 is pure, precise and quietly commanding.
