Irvine Wines Grand Merlot 2019 is rich and plush with complex aromas of plum, fig, herbs, blueberry, dark chocolate, and five-spice. It has excellent acidity and fine French oak influence. The palate is dense and persistent with flavors of juicy blackberries, anise, and menthol, supported by fine textural tannins that give it impressive longevity. This wine is well-structured for aging and pairs beautifully with meaty dishes.
