Elderton 1915 Helbig Shiraz 2024 is a formidable Barossa Valley Shiraz from Elderton Wines, drawn from the historic Helbig family vineyard planted in 1915. This is a flagship, old-vine red with deep colour, enormous flavour and the refinement to match, built for collectors but hugely impressive with dinner tonight.

Dark plum, mulberry and black cherry surge through vanilla, coffee bean, mocha, new leather, dark chocolate and spicy oak. The palate is rich and concentrated, with superb oak integration, glossy fruit and long, sinuous chocolatey tannins.
