Eisenstone Koonunga Shiraz SR807 2023, crafted by Stephen Cook in the northern Barossa’s Koonunga district, is an elegant yet powerful Shiraz, showing the region’s distinctive lifted aromatics, deep colour and silky tannin profile.

Pure black fruit and a refreshing flicker of mint lead into rich blackberry compote, pepper and warming spice. The Eisenstone SR807 Koonunga Shiraz 2023 is full-bodied and generously textured, finishing with savoury complexity and finely integrated tannins.

Serve it with pepper-crusted sirloin, slow-braised beef cheeks, smoky lamb ribs or venison sausages. Its dense fruit and spicy edge meet rich, charred flavours beautifully, while the polished structure gives it enough finesse for a special dinner or a few years in the cellar.
