Domaine de Chatillon Vin de Savoie Gamay 2024, vinified by Fabien Danjoy in Chautagne, Savoie, delivers an alpine Gamay of graceful purity. Ruby-tinged, it invites with aromas of fresh raspberry, wild cherry, rose petal and a hint of white pepper. Light-to-medium bodied, it features lively acidity, silky gentle tannins and vibrant red-berry flavours, finishing with a stony minerality that echoes the cool mountain terroir. Though formal critical scores for 2024 remain pending, previous vintages have earned ~90 points from Huon Hooke / The Real Review for their balance and charm. A superb red for lighter meats or picnic fare.
