It is a proper dinner-table white, balancing freshness and flavour with the easy confidence this producer does so well.
Peach, nectarine, rockmelon and fig rise alongside grapefruit and citrus, with baked brioche and gentle spicy oak lending extra interest. The palate is full-flavoured but nicely linear, combining bright acidity, impressive fruit length and subtle creaminess. Chain of Ponds Corkscrew Road Chardonnay 2025 is generous, balanced and unmistakably Adelaide Hills.
Pair this Adelaide Hills Chardonnay with roast chicken, grilled king prawns, creamy mushroom pasta or pan-seared barramundi.
