The palate is rich and hedonistic, exhibiting ripe stewed fruit, Christmas cake, and dark chocolate with oak-driven cedar and toast. Juicy, with fine, grainy tannins, it features ripples of caramel and licorice late in the finish, clinging to a core of dark berries and dark chocolate.
