Atlas Rosé 2025 from Atlas Wines in the Clare Valley is a pale watermelon‑pink Grenache rosé that’s all about delicacy, fragrance and refreshment – think seriously drinkable, but with just enough texture to keep it interesting. The nose leads with expressive strawberry, rose petals and a touch of vanilla and musk, then opens into pomegranate, grapefruit pith and Royal Gala apple, giving a lovely mix of sweet‑fruited charm and savoury, Provençal‑style lift. On the palate it’s refreshingly dry, with melon and berry fruit supported by crisp acidity and a gentle saline, herbal note that makes it very moreish rather than lolly‑sweet.

Hand‑picked Grenache from old bush vines around Leasingham, in a cool, mild 2025 season, gives concentrated flavour without heaviness, perfect for this bright, nimble rosé style. The winemaking keeps things clean and precise – gentle pressing, cool fermentation and early bottling – to lock in perfume and that pale, pretty colour.
