Stanton & Killeen Tempranillo 2023 is a juicy, vibrant Rutherglen red from the seventh-generation Stanton & Killeen family winery, showing exactly why this Spanish variety thrives in warm Australian vineyards. Easy-going but far from ordinary, it combines bright berry fruit, soft spice and fine tannins in a deliciously drinkable medium-bodied style.

Red cherry and raspberry burst from the glass, backed by plum skin, subtle vanilla oak and a savoury earthy note. The palate is fresh and generous, with bright red-fruit flavour, soft friendly tannins and just enough spice to give the 2023 Stanton & Killeen Tempranillo shape. It finishes smooth, dry and seriously moreish.

Serve this Rutherglen Tempranillo lightly chilled with tapas, chorizo, chargrilled lamb, mushroom pizza, paella or smoky barbecue chicken. Its juicy fruit and gentle grip suit salty, spice-led dishes brilliantly, while its medium weight makes it an effortless red for a casual midweek dinner or a long weekend lunch with friends.
