Stanton & Killeen The Prince Reserva 2022 is a savoury, structured Rutherglen red from the historic Stanton & Killeen family winery, celebrating the house’s deep connection to Iberian varieties. Built around traditional Portuguese grapes, this distinctive Australian red delivers dark fruit, earthy spice and serious food-pairing appeal.
Black cherry, dark plum and blackberry lead into dried herbs, cedar, clove and an earthy, savoury edge. The palate is medium to full-bodied and firmly shaped, with fine tannins, dark-fruit concentration and fresh acidity holding the wine long and dry. The Prince Reserva rewards a quick decant and opens beautifully in the glass.
