About this product
Cape Mentelle Trinders Cabernet Merlot 2022 is a generous, polished Margaret River red from Cape Mentelle, inspired by classic Bordeaux blends and built for relaxed drinking with genuine depth. Cabernet brings structure and perfume, while Merlot rounds out the wine with plush blue fruit and warmth.
Crème de cassis, red cherry and blackberry preserve burst from the glass, lifted by rosemary, dried herbs, rose and violet. Cape Mentelle Trinders Cabernet Merlot 2022 is rich yet beautifully balanced, layering cassis, fresh plum and blue fruits over silky tannins, savoury spice and neatly integrated French oak.
Serve this Margaret River Cabernet Merlot with coq au vin, rosemary-braised lamb shanks or Portobello mushroom risotto with feta. Its smooth berry richness also makes it a cracking partner for charcuterie, gourmet beef pies and aged cheddar, delivering instant dinner-party appeal.
