About this product
Terre Forti Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC 2024 is a richly flavoured Sicilian red that captures the warmth and generosity of the island’s signature grape. Made from Nero d’Avola grown on clay and limestone soils, it delivers ripe dark fruit, soft spice and a smooth, approachable shape that makes it ideal for relaxed Italian-style dining.
Inky ruby in colour, this 2024 Terre Forti Nero d’Avola opens with ripe redcurrant, blackberry, plum and dark cherry, layered with cocoa, cedar and sweet baking spice. The palate is medium-bodied and plush, with juicy black fruit, supple tannins and a soft, rounded finish. A gentle savoury edge adds depth, while the fruit stays bright and generous from first sip to last.
Serve Terre Forti Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC with tomato bruschetta, wood-fired pizza, lamb skewers, spaghetti meatballs, eggplant parmigiana or chargrilled sausages. Its ripe berry fruit and soft tannins love tomato-based dishes and smoky barbecue flavours, while its Mediterranean spice makes it an easy match for roasted vegetables and aged pecorino.
