About this product

Ricasoli Chianti Barone 2024 is a bright, straight-up Tuscan red from Barone Ricasoli, delivering the juicy, savoury charm that makes Chianti such a go-to at the dinner table. It is fresh, generous and wonderfully unpretentious, with lively Sangiovese acidity, soft spice and enough structure to handle proper Italian cooking.

Black cherry, blackcurrant and red plum lead the nose, lifted by violet, liquorice, mint and a gentle balsamic note. Ricasoli Chianti Barone 2024 is medium-bodied and juicy, with fresh acidity, velvety spice and fine tannins carrying ripe berry fruit through to a clean, earthy finish. It is vibrant, authentic and seriously easy to drink.

Pour this everyday Italian red with spaghetti Bolognese, sausage pizza, eggplant parmigiana or slow-cooked beef in tomato sauce. It also works a treat with grilled pork, Tuscan bean stew, mushroom gnocchi, charcuterie and pecorino. Serve just below room temperature and let its bright cherry fruit pull the whole meal together.
