Aptitude Woodside Gamay 2025 is a generously styled Adelaide Hills Gamay from Greg Clack, sourced from the HSV and Bluestone sites near Woodside, where the variety finds brilliant perfume, freshness and supple depth. It is a vibrant, small-batch red with serious charm and delicious drinking appeal.
Dark cherry, blood plum and maraschino fruit rise with wild strawberry, redcurrant and a fragrant violet lift. The Aptitude Woodside Gamay 2025 is rounded and mouth-filling, balancing its opulent fruit with lively acidity, gentle herbal complexity and enough fine tannin to give the wine shape, savoury detail and excellent length.
Pour Aptitude Woodside Gamay 2025 lightly chilled with roast pork, duck pancakes, charcuterie, grilled broccolini, mushroom dishes or a celeriac mash. Its plush fruit and bright lift work beautifully with smoky, savoury flavours, making it a brilliant alternative to Pinot Noir for dinner parties and relaxed cooler-night feasts.
