GUJINGGONG BAIJIU GU20 52% vol 500 ml (6 Bottles) Bozhou City, China
About this product
Gujinggong Baijiu Gu 20 (52% vol, 500 ml) is a premium, strong‑aroma Chinese baijiu aged around 20 years, presented in an ornate, dragon‑wrapped bottle that absolutely looks the part for gifting or special occasions. It’s built in the classic Anhui strong‑aroma style, rich and grain‑driven but impressively smooth for its power.
On the nose, Gujinggong Gu 20 shows intense grain character with cereal, sorghum, nuts and toasted peanut, layered with dried pineapple, mango, citrus, little white flowers, sweet spices, cacao and aniseed. The palate is full‑bodied and warming, mixing pineapple, citrus (lemon sorbet), sweet spice, granola, roasted nuts and savoury herbal notes like tomato leaf and basil, finishing long with a tickly Sichuan peppercorn heat and lingering grain sweetness.
It’s traditionally enjoyed neat at room temperature alongside a meal, especially richly flavoured Chinese dishes where its grain, spice and umami notes can match the food. You can also serve it slightly chilled, over a big cube of ice, or play with cocktails using pineapple juice or other tropical fruit elements if you want to open it up for a broader audience.
