On the nose, this Nick O’Leary Tumbarumba Chardonnay 2023 shows preserved lemon pith, grapefruit, white peach, apricot and shaved almonds with that flinty, smoky sulphide lift and spicy, nutty French oak sitting neatly behind. The palate is tight and refreshing yet creamy through the mid‑palate, with complex citrus and stone fruit layered over almond paste, lively acidity and a long, taut, mouth‑watering finish.
