Moorilla Estate Muse Chardonnay 2021 from southern Tasmania is a refined, old–world–inspired cool–climate Chardonnay, showing balance, texture and seriousness without ever feeling heavy or over–oaked. It sits in the producer’s more classical Muse tier, built to age gracefully in bottle.

In the glass, Muse Chardonnay 2021 is typically bright pale gold with aromas of white peach, lemon zest and grapefruit, layered over flinty reduction, roasted cashew and subtle brioche complexity. The palate is tightly framed yet creamy, with stone fruit and citrus running through a line of saline, minerally acidity, integrated oak and a long, savoury, gently nutty finish.

This Moorilla Muse Chardonnay 2021 is a natural partner for roast chicken, grilled scallops, richer white–fish dishes, lobster with butter, or mushroom and parmesan risotto, where its acidity, texture and oak spice really come alive.
