In the glass you’re looking at perfect mid–density colour with light purple tints, and a nose of lifted spice, dark cherry and plum, blackberry, pastille and background French oak. The palate is ripe and generous – blackberry and dark berry pastille, vanilla and gentle oak spice, all wrapped in fine tannins and balanced acidity, finishing long with soft berry fruit and a subtle chocolatey echo. It’s medium to full–bodied and seriously easy to keep sipping.
