About this product
Schild Estate Barossa Valley Chardonnay 2024 comes from old Barossa vines that give serious flavour without losing freshness, making it a brilliant option for lovers of generous but well‑balanced whites. In the glass, this Schild Estate Barossa Chardonnay 2024 typically shows ripe stone fruits and melon alongside lemon and green apple, layered with hints of vanilla, subtle nutty creaminess and a light touch of oak rather than heavy toast. The palate is medium‑bodied and nicely pitched – juicy peach and citrus, bright acidity and a gentle creamy texture, finishing crisp with a whisper of nougat and roasted nuts.
It is a natural match for roast chicken, grilled barramundi, creamy seafood pasta, pork cutlets or a rich roast‑veg gratin, and it has enough line and structure to drink smartly over the next few years.
