Pepper Tree ‘Coquun’ Platinum Shiraz Blend 2018 is a premium Hunter Valley Shiraz, crafted by Head Winemaker Gwyn Olsen. Sourced from select vineyards in the Mount View sub-region of Lower Hunter Valley, New South Wales. The wine unveils aromas of black cherry, plum and dark berries, intertwined with complex spice, cedar and a whisper of woodsmoke. Medium-bodied yet generous, it displays fine, powdery tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, resonant finish. Minerality emerges in graphite and gently earthy tones reflective of terra rossa and limestone soils. Technical data: 14.5% ABV. Scored 95/100 in WineSquare and awarded Gold at the 2019 NSW Wine Awards.
