Henri Prudhon Saint-Aubin 1er Cru “Les Rouges-Gorges” is a refined old-vine Pinot Noir from Saint-Aubin’s limestone slopes. Bright ruby in colour, it opens with aromas of wild cherry, raspberry and dried rose petal, layered with hints of leather and subtle spice. The palate is medium-bodied yet structured, with silky tannins, vibrant acidity and a fine mineral streak that carries through to a savoury, lingering finish. Aged 15-18 months in mostly used oak, this cuvée shows both charm and depth. Awarded 89-91 points by Burghound, it is an elegant Burgundy for duck, game or cellaring over the next five to seven years.
