Grapes are selected for intensity and muscular tannin, so it’s full‑bodied, powerful and unapologetically bold, yet with more modern balance than the name suggests.

Expect a complex nose of dark berries, black forest cake and blackberry compote, with black cherry, vanilla, licorice root, beef stock, graphite and smoky, charry oak all in the mix. The palate is lush and concentrated, loaded with blackberry, black cherry and satsuma plum, layered with dark chocolate, spice and savoury earth, all wrapped in firm, fine‑grained tannins and a long, rich, deeply satisfying finish.
