This 2023 Credaro Kinship Shiraz layers richness and structure in a way that feels both generous and finely judged, perfect for lovers of plush yet savoury reds.

In the glass you’ll see deep purple–red hues with lifted mulberry, blueberry and dark plum, backed by violet, cocoa, liquorice and a ripple of sweet baking spice. The palate is full–bodied and fruit–forward yet nicely savoury through the mid–palate, with ripe black fruits, hints of earth and pepper, and a line of fine, velvety tannins carrying a long, flavoursome finish. It’s rich without being clumsy, a seriously drinkable Margaret River shiraz that still has the bones to age a few years.

On the table, this is magic with grilled rib–eye, peppered kangaroo, slow–cooked lamb shoulder or hearty beef cheeks, where that dark fruit and spice really come into their own.
