Deakin Estate Azahara Shiraz 2024 is a silky, medium-bodied Australian red from Deakin Estate, made for easy dinners, casual barbecues and generous sharing plates. Bright, juicy and immediately approachable, it delivers ripe dark berry fruit, gentle oak and soft tannins in a polished style that overdelivers for everyday drinking.
Juicy blackberry, dark cherry and ripe plum lead the aromas, followed by mulberry, liquorice, vanilla and warm spice. Deakin Estate Azahara Shiraz 2024 is smooth and well structured, with a supple dark-fruit core, subtle oak influence and silky tannins. A long, savoury finish gives this easy-going Shiraz a little extra polish and plenty of broad appeal.
Match this Australian Shiraz with lamb cutlets, sticky pork buns, chargrilled steak or smoky barbecue ribs. It is equally good with beef stir-fry, wood-fired pizza, tapas and a cheeseboard with aged cheddar. Serve around 16–18°C, then let its juicy fruit, liquorice spice and smooth structure settle straight into dinner.
