Translating to Silk & Velvet, it’s named for the qualities the young and old Blaufrankisch vines bring to the table. Hand selected fruit from multiple separate parcels are used, hailing from vines between 15 to 35 years old. The older vines bring the silk, the younger ones bring the velvet, and they come together in a magnificent package of rich dark fruit, boisterous acidity, a hint of spice and food-friendly vibrancy.
