About this product
Sidewood Estate Chardonnay 2025 from Sidewood Estate in the Adelaide Hills is a sharp, stylish cool-climate Chardonnay, wild-fermented in French oak and matured on lees for nine months. Winemaker Dylan Lee, with consultant Darryl Catlin, has shaped a bright yet savoury wine with proper regional polish.
Savoury struck-match notes lead into white nectarine, grapefruit pith and lemon juice, with breadcrumbs, hazelnut and subtle marzipan building complexity. French oak brings lingering toast, spice and a creamier mid-palate, while briny mineral tension and juicy acidity keep Sidewood Chardonnay 2025 lean, fresh and seriously moreish.
Bring this Adelaide Hills Chardonnay to the table with roast chicken, pan-seared scallops, buttery barramundi or mushroom risotto. Its citrus cut slices through creamy sauces, while the nutty oak detail loves golden, roasted flavours. Chill lightly and watch it open up beautifully through lunch or dinner.
