Shadowfax Macedon Chardonnay 2025 from the Macedon Ranges is a poised, cool-climate Chardonnay that balances bright citrus tension with elegant fruit and savoury complexity, giving it real finesse and drink-now appeal.
The nose bursts with white florals, lemon curd, nectarine, grapefruit, lime and subtle lees-derived cream, brioche and mineral notes. On the palate it’s juicy and mouth-watering, with stonefruit, lime pith, sherbet acidity, cedar spice and cracked wheat, finishing long, fresh and stylishly composed.
It’s a natural match for roast chicken, grilled fish, lobster, creamy pasta or scallops. Shadowfax Macedon Chardonnay 2025 has the cool-climate precision and layered texture that make Macedon Chardonnay such a standout, with enough energy to drink beautifully now and enough shape to cellar.
