Schild Estate Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022 (6 Bottles) Barossa Valley, SA
About this product
Schild Estate Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022 from the Schild family in the southern Barossa is a cracking, full‑bodied Shiraz that marries plush Barossa fruit with a really controlled, modern framework that feels spot on for serious everyday drinking. This Schild Estate Barossa Shiraz 2022 shows the pedigree of old‑vine country without the hefty price tag.
In the glass you will see deep dark ruby‑purple with lifted aromas of blood plum, blackberry, mulberry and brambly hedgerow fruit, backed by vanillin oak, mocha, pepper spice and a touch of dark chocolate and espresso. The palate is rich and mouth‑filling, rolling in waves of blackcurrant, plum and mulberry framed by a fine lattice of ripe tannins, finishing long, dry and velvety with plenty of Barossa weight and presence.
This Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022 is a ripper alongside chargrilled lamb chops, slow‑braised beef short ribs, barbequed portobello mushrooms with herb and garlic butter, smokey snags or a hearty beef and mushroom pie. It will also sing with aged cheddar or a rich, tomato‑based pasta bake, making it a versatile choice for your next BBQ or winter roast here in Adelaide.
