Redbank La Piazza Fiano 2022 from the King Valley is a super‑fresh, high‑altitude Italian white that’s all about zip, crunch and drinkability – the sort of wine you want cold in the esky for a sunny afternoon. Grown at around 700 metres at Myrrhee, it captures cool‑climate brightness with just a touch of winemaker craft for texture.

In the glass, Redbank La Piazza Fiano 2022 shows delicate aromas of lime zest, feijoa and citrus blossom with underlying fresh basil and lemon‑scented thyme, giving both perfume and a herbal twist. The palate is fresh, zesty, juicy and mouth‑watering, with a fine seam of minerality leading into a crunchy, refreshing finish – a small parcel was barrel‑fermented for complexity, while most was fermented very cold in tank to lock in crisp Fiano fruit.

Food‑wise, it’s tailor‑made for seafood, simple grilled fish, salads and aperitivo snacks, where that lime, feijoa, herb and mineral profile really lifts lighter flavours without overpowering them.
