About this product
Plantagenet Wyjup Collection Shiraz 2021 by Plantagenet from Mount Barker opens with brambly black fruit and dark plum, layered with notes of mocha, clove and subtle iron-filling minerality. Aromas of blackberry, game meat and pencil shavings rise from the glass, while 18 months in French oak lend complexity. Firm, ripe tannins structure a vibrant, intense palate finishing long, bold and elegant. It was awarded 95 points by Ray Jordan and 94 points by Mike Bennie in Halliday Wine Companion.
