About this product
Pikes ‘The Merle’ Reserve Riesling 2025 is the pinnacle of Pikes’ Polish Hill River Riesling, hand-picked from the finest estate parcels and named for family matriarch Merle Pike. It is a thrilling Clare Valley Riesling of concentration, purity and mineral precision, built for immediate impact and decades in the cellar.
Lime, lemon, pink grapefruit and green apple leap from the glass, with lemongrass, jasmine, lavender, ginger, wet slate and talc adding perfume and complexity. The palate is taut, racy and beautifully textural, balancing crystalline citrus flavour with firm juicy acidity and a long, chalky mineral finish.
