Mollydooker The Scooter Merlot 2024 is an irresistibly plush McLaren Vale red from Mollydooker, bursting with the winery’s signature generous fruit style while retaining the silky polish and fragrant charm that make this Merlot such a crowd-pleasing bottle.
Cherries and forest fruits leap from the glass, followed by fresh plum, sweet berries and inviting nutmeg and cinnamon spice. The 2024 Mollydooker Scooter Merlot is fragrant, velvety and finely balanced, with delicate tannins framing its ripe flavour concentration and a smooth, lingering finish.
Pour this McLaren Vale Merlot with venison braciola, sticky pork ribs, duck breast or slow-cooked beef cheek. Its ripe berry sweetness and soft structure also make it brilliant beside smoky barbecue dishes, delivering generous flavour without the hard edges that can tire the palate.
