MMAD Grenache

MMAD Grenache 2024 is an exceptional Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale red from MMAD Vineyard, drawn from old bush vines planted in 1939 on sandy soils. It is a benchmark modern Australian Grenache, balancing fragrant intensity, silken texture and mineral freshness with remarkable poise and depth.

Tea rose, sweet pea and deep blue florals lead into dark cherry, raspberry, framboise, oolong tea, burdock root, nori and fine spice. The MMAD 2024 Grenache is ripe but weightless, unfolding with plush red fruit, maritime iodine notes, subtle ironstone minerality and chewy, sandy tannins through an exceptionally long finish.

Serve this distinguished McLaren Vale Grenache with slow-roasted lamb shoulder, duck breast with cherries, chargrilled pork cutlets, mushroom risotto or Moroccan-spiced vegetables.
