About this product
Majella Merlot 2024 is an elegant, estate-grown Coonawarra Merlot from Majella Wines, produced from the single-vineyard Quarry Block in exceptional years. This is a polished Australian Merlot with generous dark fruit, regional freshness and the quiet confidence that makes it a superb all-round red.
Ripe plum and mulberry lead the aromatics, with briar, mint and soft vanillin oak adding a distinctly Coonawarra edge. The palate is medium to full-bodied, smooth and rounded, balancing juicy berry fruit with savoury detail, fine tannins and refreshing lift through the finish.
Serve Majella 2024 Merlot with roast duck, mushroom risotto, pork cutlets or a classic beef pie. Its plush fruit and supple tannins make it wonderfully versatile at the table, while its polished structure offers enough depth to satisfy lovers of serious Coonawarra red wine.
