Fratelli Alessandria “Prinsiòt” Langhe Nebbiolo 2023 shows luminous garnet colour with classic notes of red cherry, wild strawberry and cranberry, backed by dried rose, violet, subtle baking spice and earthy undertones from its limestone‑clay soils. The palate is medium‑bodied, silky and fresh, with fine, chalky tannins and bright acidity giving a long, savoury, gently herbal finish.

This is spot‑on with tagliatelle ragù, pizza with cured meats, grilled pork sausages or a simple steak, where its lift and structure cut through richness without needing a big occasion. It’s also great with roast chook, mushroom dishes, hard cheeses and antipasto plates, making it a versatile mid‑week Piedmont red that still feels special in the glass.
