About this product

Domaine Sauveroy Côteaux du Layon Vieilles Vignes 2023 is a luxurious Loire Valley Chenin Blanc, delivering old-vine concentration, luscious stone fruit and the vibrant acidity that keeps great sweet wine fresh. From the schist soils of Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay, it is rich, golden and utterly moreish.

Apricot conserve, quince paste, pineapple and mango unfold with acacia honey, beeswax, orange zest and white flowers. Domaine Sauveroy Vieilles Vignes is opulent and silky, yet never cloying, with bright acidity slicing through the honeyed fruit and carrying its long, botrytis-laced finish.

Serve this Coteaux du Layon with foie gras, blue cheese, roast pork with apple, or an apricot and almond tart. Its sweetness contrasts beautifully with salty cheeses and savoury richness, while the citrusy freshness makes it a knockout with fruit desserts. Pour lightly chilled and savour it slowly.
