About this product

Château Clarke Listrac-Médoc 2020 is a commanding yet refined Left Bank Bordeaux from the Baron Edmond de Rothschild estate, blending 70% Merlot with 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has the depth and cellar potential of a serious Médoc, but its ripe fruit and plush texture already make a very persuasive case.

Black cherry, cassis and dark plum lead the aromatics, layered with graphite, cedar, espresso, leather, menthol and dried herbs. The palate is concentrated and medium to full-bodied, with fresh acidity and velvety yet grainy tannins. Château Clarke 2020 finishes long, savoury and oak-polished, with plenty still to unfold.

Give Château Clarke Listrac-Médoc 2020 a proper match in roast lamb, beef fillet, duck breast, slow-braised short ribs, mushroom ragù or firm aged cheeses. Decanting now will soften its youthful grip, while patient collectors can confidently cellar this structured Bordeaux through 2040.
