Cape Mentelle Heritage Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is a magnificent Margaret River flagship from Cape Mentelle, delivering estate pedigree, dark-fruit concentration and fine, architectural tannins in a wine built for both a serious decant and long-term cellaring.
Blackberry, black cherry and plum meet cassis, liquorice, dried herbs, violet, cedar and dark chocolate. Cape Mentelle Heritage Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 has a lively, juicy core, but the real strength lies in its firm, elegant tannins, beautifully integrated oak and long finish of rose petal, nori and savoury spice.
Decant this Margaret River Cabernet for roast rack of lamb, beef Wellington, venison loin or mushroom and truffle pappardelle. Its detailed black fruit and leafy savoury character also shine with aged Comté, cheddar or Manchego, making it a show-stopping bottle for a special dinner.
