Plantagenet Wyjup Collection Chardonnay 2024 is a powerful yet refined Mount Barker white from Plantagenet’s flagship Wyjup range, showing the Great Southern’s cool maritime influence through concentrated fruit, fine flinty freshness and beautifully judged barrel complexity.
White peach, grapefruit and citrus curd meet roasted hazelnut, toast and warm baking spice, with a distinctive flinty edge adding tension. The 2024 Plantagenet Wyjup Collection Chardonnay is creamy and generous through the middle, yet soft acidity and mineral detail keep its buttery richness focused, long and impressively composed.
Pair this Mount Barker Chardonnay with roast chicken, pan-seared scallops, lobster pasta, grilled snapper or a buttery mushroom risotto.
