Wangolina A Series Grüner Veltliner 2025 isn’t fully released yet, but it will follow the established A Series style – an intriguing, savoury alternative to a dry Riesling, and the only Grüner Veltliner grown and made on the Limestone Coast. Expect a fresh, textural white that leans into citrus, white stone fruit and peppery minerality rather than overt tropical sweetness.

Based on recent vintages, you can look for meyer lemon and crunchy celery on the nose, with fleshy white stone fruit, a slightly peppery undertone and chalky minerality on the palate, all carried by long, fine acidity. Hand‑picking, whole‑bunch pressing and a three‑way ferment (ceramic egg, mature French oak and stainless steel) build complexity and texture without losing freshness, making it a seriously engaging cool‑climate white.

It’s a natural match for fish – especially Goan fish curry or other spice‑driven seafood – schnitzel, light white meats and salads, where that citrus‑stone‑fruit‑pepper profile and clean acidity can really shine and cut through richer flavours.
