About this product
Cape Mentelle Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is a superb Margaret River red from one of the region’s benchmark producers, delivering classic Cabernet perfume, fine tannins and the confident polish that makes this style so collectable. A small splash of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Merlot adds shape and complexity.
Blackberry jam, cassis and raspberry lead the aromatics, with bay leaf, liquorice, dark chocolate and coffee grounds building savoury depth. Cape Mentelle Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is luscious yet focused, with sleek fine tannins, well-judged French oak and excellent length carrying the fruit into a composed finish.
Put this Margaret River Cabernet beside roast beef, lamb cutlets, pepper-crusted ribeye or a slow-braised mushroom dish. Its black-fruit richness and savoury leaf character also pair brilliantly with aged cheddar, Manchego and charcuterie, making it a cracking bottle for a proper dinner spread.
