About this product

Jauma Birdsey Cabernet Franc 2022 is a natural wine from the Seaview vineyard in McLaren Vale, South Australia, farmed organically by Fiona Wood. The vineyard sits on yellow sand over clay soils. The wine is made with zero additions or filtration, representing a true living wine. It is destemmed, fermented to dryness, then aged for 10 months in 500L French oak barrels before bottling. The wine is known for rich, opulent, and punchy aromatics with a classy profile, blending floral, bramble, and subtle spice notes with savory charm and a lingering finish. It reflects a balanced and elegant expression of Cabernet Franc with a natural and minimal intervention approach.
