Yves Cuilleron Côte-Rôtie Madinière Syrah
About this product
Yves Cuilleron Côte-Rôtie Madinière Syrah 2023 is a thrilling Northern Rhône red from Yves Cuilleron, grown on the sunlit schists above Ampuis and shaped by a splash of Viognier. This is Côte-Rôtie at its most seductive, with dark fruit, floral lift, savoury smoke and finely drawn structure.
Black cherry, plum, cassis and ripe raspberry aromas open into violet, peony, white pepper, clove, graphite and smoky schist. The Yves Cuilleron Madinière 2023 is fleshy and medium to full-bodied, with generous fruit, mouth-watering freshness and tight, velvety tannins carrying a long, mineral finish.
Pair Yves Cuilleron Côte-Rôtie Madinière 2023 with veal fillet, herb-roasted lamb, duck breast, roast poultry, beef cheeks or mushroom dishes. Decant for an hour when young to unfurl the perfume, or cellar for five to 10 years for extra savoury complexity. This is a seriously classy Syrah for a memorable dinner.
