About this product

Mr. Riggs The Gaffer Shiraz 2024 is a generously flavoured McLaren Vale classic from Ben Riggs, drawing fruit from five prized vineyard sites to deliver the warmth, dark-fruit power and supple charm that define this celebrated regional style.

Rich red berries, dark plum and subtle herbal notes rise first, followed by blackcurrant, thyme, paprika, white pepper and vanilla. The 2024 Mr. Riggs The Gaffer Shiraz is soft and fruit-driven, with a medium-weight palate, sweet warm tannins and beautifully integrated oak adding spice and polish.

Bring this McLaren Vale Shiraz to chargrilled lamb cutlets, slow-braised beef, wood-fired pizza with spicy sausage or mature cheddar. Its generous berry flavour and gentle oak make it a superb all-rounder, with enough savoury detail for dinner and enough smoothness for a relaxed glass by itself.
