Hugh Hamilton The Scallywag Chardonnay 2025 is a cheeky yet beautifully composed McLaren Vale Chardonnay from Hugh Hamilton Wines, sourced from the Vale’s cooler, higher-elevation sites to deliver ripe fruit generosity with real freshness and finesse.
White peach, pear, guava and kiwi rise from the glass, accented by lemon zest, tarragon, sage and vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied and textural, with creamy lees richness, subtle French-oak toast and bright citrus acidity bringing shape and energy to the generous stone-fruit core.
